St. Mary’s 150th Anniversary-2016
A date to remember
May 20th 1866, the corner stone was laid for St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Como.
On Sunday, May 22, 2016 the Parish celebrated the 150th anniversary of this beautiful church.
The church was full, many people were adorned in period dress, and there was excitement in the air! A beautiful service led by the Anglican Bishop of Montreal, the Rt. Rev. Mary Irwin-Gibson and the Rev. Padre Carol Bateman celebrated God’s blessings in this place and to the community of Como-Hudson for 150 years.
A gala reception was held after the service in St. Mary’s Hall. To see photos of this special occasion, please go to the photo albums page under About Us.
