THE VAUDREUIL PARISH PULSE

PULSE MAILING:

Thanks to everyone who has signed up for receiving Pulse via e-mail – now almost a third of the parish is taking advantage of this cost-saving and timely mode of communication. Pulse mailings, however, are still expensive so we would ask that, if you have not already done so, you sign up at parishvaudreuil@ca.inter.net thus helping us to further cut costs. For those of you without e-mail or who are “hard copy” fans, no problem, but when possible please try to pick up your newsletters from the church when they are put out after services.

FAMILY BBQ AND STRAWBERRY SOCIAL: SUNDAY, JULY 10TH, 6:00 P.M.

The annual Anglican Parish of Vaudreuil Family BBQ and Strawberry Social and will be held on Sunday,

July 10 at 6:00 PM on the grounds at St. James’ Church and the Parish Rectory. Hamburgers and hot-dogs will be served along with potluck salads prepared by our guests. And then you will be treated to strawberries with toppings of your choice from ice cream, cream, sugar and chocolate. And all this will be accompanied by huge bowls of the now-famous Strawberry punches concocted for guests of all ages.

The entrance fee is a free will offering and a bowl of salad sufficient to feed the number of folks in your own group. So bring your family and friends. See you on the grounds of St. James’ Church and Parish Rectory, 642 Main Road, Hudson, or indoors if rain prevails.

SUMMER DAY CAMP: JULY 25TH TO JULY 29TH, 10:00 AM TO 3:00 PM.

A fun-filled day of prayers, games, songs and crafts. Register at the parish office, Mon. to Fri. 9:00 am to noon. For information call Sandra Holmes 451-0427 $20 per child or $40 per family of three or more.

Supplies Needed: assorted shoe boxes, Styrofoam meat trays, large juice cans, brown paper bags, various sizes plastic containers, milk cartons, clean heavy plastic jugs, boxes of parowax, several sheets white bristle board, assorted magazines. Please drop off at St. James in basement room beside parish office.

TREVOR CHARLES BELSON was baptized on June 24th. He is the son of Ruth de Gruchy and Andrew Belson from British Columbia and great grandson of Kirsteen Berth-Jones.
